Little Groovers

  • Little Groovers: Ages 6-8 years
  • Afro-Caribbean: Tuesdays 5:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m.
  • Traditional African: Saturdays 12:00 p.m.- 1:00 p.m.
  • Afrobeats: Sundays 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

In the Little Groovers dance classes students will work with instructors to develop their dance understanding and abilities in a more focussed format. Developing basic techniques, practices, and a knowledge of the dances, movements, expressions, and background behind the 3 mandatory genres taught at AGS; Traditional African Dance, Afro-Caribbean, and Afrobeats. Students will also explore the basic histeo-geographical context behind the movements/dances that they are learning.

No previous dance experience necessary.
